About Us

Annarita (Anna) Monaldi's textile creations are made using primarily knitting and crochet techniques and different types of yarn, fabric and fibres. She started knitting and crocheting when she was 4 years of age under the strong influence of two very strict teachers—her mother and grandmother. They wouldn't give her knitting needles at such a young age so she made her own using toothpicks!

She has always treasured the passion for making things that was passed down to her from her family's line of women, and she still gets amazed at what can come from a simple thread and a few basic and rudimentary tools when put together with some imagination.

Anna has been a proud member of the Design and Craft Council of Ireland since 2015.
